Terms of Service

Using Equinox

By adding Equinox to a server, or using its commands or dashboard, you agree to these terms, to Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and to the privacy policy. Equinox isn't made by or affiliated with Discord.

Server Staff

Staff choose which features run in their server and how they are set up, including the messages the bot sends, what it logs and keeps, and which AI features run. They are responsible for using them within Discord's rules and the law.

What Not to Use It For

• Harassment, spam, or messages to people who didn't ask for them.
• Evading bans or other enforcement, or scraping Discord.
• Adult content outside age-restricted channels, or anything that breaks Discord's Community Guidelines.
• Decisions about jobs, housing, insurance or benefits: applications and their AI review are for community roles only.
• Keeping a server looking busy with automated messages.

Coins and Games

Coins, XP, items and levels have no value outside the server. They can't be bought with money, sold, or cashed out. Betting games use coins only and only work in age-restricted channels.

AI Features

AI reviews and summaries are suggestions for staff and can be wrong. People make the decisions.

Equinox Premium

Every protection in Equinox works without Premium. Equinox Premium is a subscription for one server, bought through Discord. It adds deep research by AI (threat profiles, the AI's own security briefing, picture scans and /catchup) and lets the server give the bot an image and a banner of its own there (the Equinox mark in a server's own colors needs no Premium). When Premium ends, what only Premium gives stops: the bot goes back to its usual picture and banner in that server, and the images it uploaded are kept for when it has Premium again. Equinox can also give Premium to a server, or to every server for a time. AI features have fair-use limits: when one is reached they pause until it resets, and nothing that protects the server stops. What Premium includes can change. Discord handles payment, renewals and refunds under its own terms, and Equinox never sees payment details.

Availability

Equinox is provided as it is, without guarantees. Features can change or stop, and the operator can remove Equinox from servers that misuse it.
